Struggling to find your timing? Your hands not in the right place? Perhaps you and your horse aren't communicating well? Or maybe you just want to get better and beat the other Betty's? I got you.
In person, individual lessons are $70 for 1 hour. You'll get a one hour, uninterrupted session to help you solve whatever issue you feel is plaguing you in the barrel pen. Beginner barrel racers and experienced riders who just want a tune up are welcome!
(No first-time horseback riders at this time.)

Lessons
Training
You get what you pay for.
I cannot stress enough the importance of research. As owners, I believe we must ensure we give our horses the best we physically and financially are capable of. That's why I encourage anyone to invest in a GOOD trainer from the start, one you have done your homework on and thoroughly researched prior to spending your hard-earned money, but most importantly, your time. You shouldn't have to send the horse off again as soon as he comes home because the job wasn't done right or not at all.
That's why I guarantee my training. I will ensure the horse has a solid start and that he goes home better than when he arrived. You will get two weeks of free lessons as part of my training program to ensure you understand the foundation I put on him and you can maintain or continue on your own.
My goal is to make sure the horse doesn't come back for the same thing. If he does within the first 30 days, then I will offer a partial refund.
What I offer:
Barrel and Pole Training
Foundation (setting them up for the barrels or poles)
Starting the barrels/poles
Finishing
Tuning
Colt Starting (This is minimal and I will be very selective)
Prices are: $1,400 for 30 days (Colt starting is $2,000, minimum of 90 days)
This includes feed/board and exhibitions if hauling. Owner is responsible for entry/stall costs. Fuel will be divided between all horses hauled.
